Ice Roses – You need Distilled Water, Edible, Pesticide-free flowers, plants, herbs or fruit. Pretty, little, dainty flowers suspended in ice.  Use only organic, edible flowers. The last thing you want to do is poison your guest or make pesticide-laced ice cubes. You can also use berries, herbs, or fruits. A list of common edible flowers/herbs are:  chamomile, roses, pansies, lavender, begonias, Marigolds, Carnations, Day Lilies, Borage, Mint, Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Lilac.Deviled Chicks – Cut the eggs horizontally when the eggs are standing tall, dividing them about 2/3 tall instead of cutting them in half. It made them look more like little shell caps that way. Using a mini muffin tin is a life saver! Put the filling in a small zip sandwich bag with the corner snipped off. Use tiny bits of olives for eyes and little triangles for the beaks from a carrot. Place the “chicks” on to a serving platter with a couple lettuce leaves, adjusting the lettuce to help keep the eggs upright.Party food station ideas:

The Money Box – All you need is an empty Kleenex box. Oh and cash. Dollar bills. Tape the dollar bills together end to end with Scotch tape. Obviously the more dollar bills the greater the “WOW”. Stuff them in the Kleenex box with just one dollar sticking out of the box. It’s fun to watch someone’s eyes grow wider as they pull out the dollars that go on and on.Pick up 5-7 different colors of plastic tablecloths from the dollar store. Fold one side of the tablecloth back and forth into approximately two inch folds. Use a needle and string and threaded the string through the center of the folds. Once all colors are folded and strung, hang the backdrop from a couple of nails. After the strings were secured to the nails, spread the tablecloths out to cover the wall. Pretty easy, right? Use colors to match those chosen for your event. Mini Balloon-in-a-Box Invitations. You’ll need special 5″ balloons, which will hold the helium for a couple of hours. Tie your party invitation to the end of the string. When the box is opened, the balloon floats out and delivers your message. This means they’ll need to be hand-delivered. But that’s fine. Seeing reactions is the best part, right?
Coupon BoardCucumber Cups
Coupon Board – Great idea for a Sprinkle Shower. Instead of advice, give the new mom “coupon” gifts. Gifts of your time for household chores, shopping, babysitting, whatever will help make those first few weeks home easier. To get your balloons to hang down instead of up, put a marble in the balloon before you blow it up.Cucumber Cups
– To make the cups you simply scoop out some of the inside of the cucumber, as
shown above and then fill them with cottage cheese, yogurt, nut butters, veggie dips, hummus, tuna or chicken salads, etc. Also you can save the scooped out bits and add it back on top like a hat.
